Mirav and I just got back from a trip to Kansas City. It was very nice to see everyone, except Tommy who had strep :(
This morning we had a crew come out and trim our enormous trees. It was long overdue. We estimated that no one had trimmed the trees in 5-6 years and they were starting to swallow our house and look very sad.
Front view Before Trimming
As you can see, the hemlock out front is hanging pretty low. You can barely see that there's a house behind it. There's a cedar in there too that needed some work.
The big reveal! There's a house back there! There was a stray branch that fell and got stuck on the internet lines. I swiped at it with a really ling pole until it fell down. I'm practically an arborist now.

So glad to have that done!
